Maybe your pool is twenty years old and starting to show it. Maybe you've got a blank backyard and a folder full of ideas you've never shown anyone. Either way, the hardest part is usually just picking up the phone. World Pools Inc has designed, built, and remodeled custom pools across San Diego since 2012 — the pool itself, plus the tile, coping, decking, and water features around it, so you're calling one licensed contractor (#1106211) instead of coordinating three. Tell us what you want your backyard to do, and we'll walk you through exactly what it takes to get there.
Why San Diego Homeowners Call Us First
World Pools Inc started in 2012, built by a family with roots in Tijuana, Mexico, who brought that same sense of family values and straight talk into how we run a pool company here in San Diego. A few reasons homeowners keep calling us first:
-
Licensed and insured (CSLB #1106211), with the paperwork to back it up
-
One contractor for the whole project — pool, tile, coping, decking, and water features, instead of juggling separate crews
-
Honest, transparent pricing explained before work starts, not discovered halfway through
-
The same point of contact from your first estimate through your final walkthrough
-
Equipment from brands we trust, including Pentair, Jandy, and Hayward
We're not the biggest pool company in San Diego, and we're fine with that. We'd rather build a smaller number of pools right than a large number fast.

Frequently Asked Questions
It depends on the size, the finish, and how much work the equipment and decking need. The best way to get a real number is a free estimate — we'll walk your property and give you an actual price, not a vague range.
A full new pool build usually runs a few months from permits to final walkthrough. A remodel can be quicker, depending on how much is changing. We'll give you a realistic timeline before work starts, not just a best-case guess.
Both. We handle the pool along with the tile, coping, concrete or paver decking, and water features around it, so you're working with one contractor instead of coordinating separate crews.
